​Join EMERGE-Well and 128 PHOTO Studio for an intimate Mommy + Me experience designed for new mothers with babies from newborn to 12 months old, ideally pre-walking.
​Enjoy a gentle yoga session, a supportive conversation around matrescence and motherhood, and professional candid and portrait photography to capture this special season with your little one.
​This is a morning to slow down, reconnect with yourself, connect with your baby, and meet other local mothers in a warm, welcoming space.

Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States and the second leading cause of death in Virginia for ages 10 – 34, yet suicide can be prevented. Volunteers, participants, and supporters from Loudoun County joined more than 220K fellow supporters nationwide to promote suicide prevention last year through nearly 600 American Foundation for Suicide Prevention community Walks.This year's Loudoun Out of the Darkness Community Walk will be held on September 19, 2026 at One Loudoun from 11 AM – 2:30 PM. This event raises awareness and funds while offering attendees a chance to connect and find support. &nbsp;Please join us for this life saving event as your participation supports our efforts in funding research, educational programs, public policy advocacy, and local initiatives for those affected by suicide.
Walk with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. Registration is free and there is no fundraising minimum to participate.

The LSO is celebrating its 35th anniversary and for its season opener is collaborating with the Master Singers of Virginia and Loudoun Lyric Opera to present Beethoven’s glorious masterwork, Symphony No. 9, which has never been performed in Loudoun County! The 9th broke traditional rules of classical music, by adding human voices to a symphony. It also turned the famous “Ode to Joy” into a global anthem for human unity.

Bring your family and friends to the 14th annual Hail to the Trail event at the Chapman DeMary Trail on September 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. This event is free and fun for all. Participate in hands-on activities, learn about native plants and wildlife, make a pinecone birdfeeder, get native plant seeds for your garden, help plant trees as part of the Town’s annual Arbor Day Celebration, celebrate the Town’s Tree City USA designation, and more.

The Chapman DeMary Trail, a 10-acre area which is the last stand of old-growth forest in the Town, is open to the public for environmental exploration, education, and recreation. Trail projects encourage environmental stewardship and have engaged students, scouts, and members of the community in learning about and protecting this habitat. The trail runs along the South Fork Catoctin Creek which is part of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. The Town of Purcellville holds the conservation easement for this privately-owned property. The entrance and parking for the Chapman DeMary Trail is behind the building at 205 East Hirst Road in Purcellville.
Hail to the Trail is hosted by the Purcellville Tree and Environment Sustainability Committee, a standing committee of the Town of Purcellville that focuses on environmental programs, sustainability, enhancement of the tree canopy, and continuation of the Town's Tree City USA designation.
