J. Alexander's Ponders Tysons, Other DC-Area Locations

Restaurant chain has more than 30 locations in 13 states, but none in D.C., Maryland or Virginia.

Restaurant chain J. Alexander's is eying several D.C. area retail scenes — including Tysons Corner — for an expansion to the Washington metro area market, according to DCEater.

Broker Bill Miller of Miller, Walker Retail Real Estate told DC Eater J. Alexander's is looking at "the usual suspects," to include "the East End, downtown, Georgetown, Tysons Corner and Bethesda."

According to DC Eater, the chain usually requires some 8,000 square feet of space.
