Marshall Percussion Beats All Competitors
The Marching Statesmen drummers earned the highest score regardless of division in their most recent competition.
The percussion section of the George C. Marshall High School Marching Statesmen outscored all other competitors (including IV Open, V, V Open, and VI Open Groups) in the USBands Marine Corps Invitational in Annapolis on Saturday evening, October 18. The band also won Best Overall Effect in Group IV Open with their cutting-edge program entitled “i_Dependence,” which considers humanity’s dependence on cellular phones.
