Falls Church Woman Dies In Fairfax County I-66 Crash
One of the drivers wasn't wearing a seat belt and died on the scene of the crash.

One person is dead after a crash on Interstate 66 Thursday morning, Virginia State Police say.
The crash happened shortly before 4 a.m. in the westbound lanes east of Exit 57 (Route 50/Lee Jackson Memorial Highway). Police say one car rear-ended another. The driver of the rear-ended car, Lesly R. Coronado, 26, of Falls Church, died on the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
The other driver, a 29-year-old woman from Manassas, was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. Charges are pending.

One vehicle showed severe damage to the front and the other damage in the rear, NBC Washington reported. According to WTOP, westbound lanes had been closed until about 7:50 a.m. Traffic had been diverted to Exit 60 (Route 123/Chain Bridge Road) until just before 7 a.m.
The cause of the crash is not known at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
