$10K Mega Millions Ticket Bought In Vienna
A $10K consolation prize for the Mega Millions jackpot wasn't so bad for a lucky Vienna winner.
No one in Virginia won the top jackpot prize in the Mega Millions drawing, but a lottery winner in Vienna scored a big consolation prize anyhow.
A ticket bought at the Vienna Shell, 252 Maple Avenue West, matched four of the first five numbers plus the Mega Ball number to win a $10,000 prize. It was one of three tickets statewide eligible for the $10,000 from the March 27 drawing.
The prize value has increased to $521 million until the winning Mega Millions jackpot ticket was sold in New Jersey, according to WTOP. The last jackpot win was $451 million, claimed by a Florida resident in January.

The next Mega Millions prize is up to $45 million. The next drawing happens Friday, April 6 at 11 p.m.
