2021 Hometown Hero Nominations Sought In Vienna

VIENNA, VA — Volunteerism has thrived during the COVID-19 pandemic to address a variety of needs in the community. If you know someone in Vienna whose volunteer service has made a difference, you can nominate them as Vienna Hometown Heroes.

The Town of Vienna is seeking nominations for volunteers to be recognized as Vienna Hometown Heroes at the Mayor's Volunteer Reception on Sept. 21. The 2020 event was cancelled due to the pandemic, so this year's reception will recognize volunteers for their efforts in 2020 and 2021. Group and individual volunteer efforts will be recognized.

To nominate a volunteer, fill out the form on the town's website and submit it by mail or email. The deadline to nominate is Aug. 31.
