9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Planned In Vienna

Retired U.S. Army Col. Glenn Snodgrass will be the speaker for this year's remembrance event.

VIENNA, VA—Vienna will hold its annual remembrance day ceremony to honor the victims of 9/11 on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 9 a.m. on the Town Green (behind the Freeman Store).

Retired U.S. Army Col. Glenn Snodgrass, who served in various command and staff positions in the United States, Vietnam, and Germany at the height of the Cold War, will be the speaker. Following retirement from the Army, Snodgrass worked in the defense industry for 15 years.

American Legion Dyer-Gunnell Post 180 and the Town of Vienna are hosting the ceremony. All are invited to attend.
