Alan Jackson Concert At Wolf Trap Cancelled

The country singer cancelled the Thursday show due to illness, according to his management.

VIENNA, VA—Country singer Alan Jackson has cancelled his Thursday, Aug. 16 concert at Wolf Trap due to illness, the venue and his management announced. The concert was scheduled for 8 p.m.

Information on a rescheduled performance or refunds will be available at a later time, according to Wolf Trap. The cancellation came the morning of the performance as Jackson's band, trucks, and crew were already at the venue.

"We sincerely regret any inconvenience this cancellation may cause. Additional information can be found at wolftrap.org," reads a statement from Wolf Trap.

Jackson was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame last year and the Songwriters Hall of Fame this year. His Honky-Tonk Highway Tour is in the midst of its second year.

Jackson also cancelled his Aug. 17 show in Gilford N.H. and has additional tour dates in September.
