Bards Alley Bookstore Opens Next Week In Vienna
The independently-owned bookstore and wine cafe has set its grand opening for next week in Vienna.

VIENNA, VA—Vienna residents will soon have a place to sip wine and read a book. Bards Alley Bookstore has set its grand opening for Tuesday Oct. 3 from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. The store will hold a ribbon cutting at 6:30 p.m. The store is located at 110 Church St. NW.
Vienna resident Jen Morrow has been pondering for years how to open a bookstore in the age of online shopping. For Bards Alley, it's all about the atmosphere.
“Teaching my own children to read took my love of reading to a new level,” said Morrow. “I rediscovered how good it feels to slow down and immerse yourself in a great book. I wanted to help create a community for kindred spirits who share a love for stories, learning and connecting with one another.”
