Bear Sighted in Vienna, Made No Human Contact
The most recent in a string of bear sightings throughout the area passed through a Vienna neighborhood without human interaction.
Yet another bear was spotted in the D.C. metropolitan area this week, this time in a neighborhood in Vienna, Virginia.
The bear was spotted by a resident on the 1300 block of Trap Road on Monday afternoon, and the resident got photos of the bear as it wandered past a nearby playground.
However, this particular bear sighting was far from dramatic. According to the Fairfax County Police Department on its Facebook page, where the department also shared the resident’s photos of the bear, the animal made “no human contact; no trouble; he wandered on his way and kept to himself.”
