The Best Beer Joints In Vienna, According To Yelp

VIENNA, VA -- When you enter a bar, it'd be nice if it was a place that had not only good beer, but good cheer. You know, a place "where everybody knows your name." While the "Cheers" bar is made for TV, in reality, Vienna has some spots that come awfully close.

Whether you like ale, lager, a porter, or some other type of beer, we can all agree atmosphere, vibe and other intangibles contribute to the values of a nice beer spot. In honor of National Beer Day, here are some Vienna spots where you can indulge in some good beer and cheer:

Caboose Brewery: 520 Mill St NE Vienna, VA 22180. Tucked away from the bustle of Maple Avenue, Caboose Brewery makes in house brews served in a cozy, industrial space and an outside patio. The brewery sits near the Washington and Old Dominion Trail, so bikers park and stop in for a cold one. A Yelper recently posted, "The beer continues to be amazing and we look forward to warm weather so we can hangout on the patio."

Chase the Submarine: 132 Church St NW, Vienna, VA 22180. The deli is known for its sandwich and global food specialties, but it also features a selection of beers. One Yelper says, "With an assortment of craft beers, an interior splashed with various textures of wood, and a communal table, you'd think you're at a hipster sandwich joint in Brooklyn rather than Vienna, Virginia."

Vienna Inn: 120 Maple Ave E, Vienna, VA 22180 Known for its chili dogs, this local staple opened in 1960. You can reminisce about the old days in the Inn's vintage booths, or stop in to buy a beer keg. One Yelper says, "If I had to summarize the Inn in one sentence, it would be: cheap beer, wings, friendly servers, total small town feel."
