What do you get when you give three writers only two sentences and twenty minutes? A Story Sprint!
Join Fall for the Book at the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center for their popular Story Sprint event, an interactive challenge featuring guest authors and you! This year's sprinters are Hannah Greico (First Kicking, Then Not), Megan Howell (Softie: Stories), and Michael Don (Partners and Strangers).
Moderating the event is author Zach Powers (First Cosmic Velocity), who will pull two audience-suggested sentences from a hat. The participants then have 20 minutes to write an impromptu story, using the selected sentences as their opening and closing lines. Attendees can enjoy fun writing games, refreshments, and a reading of the final stories.
Copies of all four authors' books will be available for sale and a signing, courtesy of Bards Alley.
