The day will feature a Learning Seminar from 10:00am-12:00pm with expert speakers from Fairfax Water, Clean Fairfax, Fairfax County, and the Northern Virginia Soil and Water District (NVSWD). From 12:00pm-2:00pm, stroll the Community Fair inside the venue that will feature booths staffed by local environmental organizations and Fairfax County environmental and water quality community educators. Finally, from 2:00pm-5:00pm NVSWD will host a rain barrel workshop. The workshop will feature community education about the importance of water conservation and how rain barrels are used to conserve water, including a hand-on opportunity to learn how to make a rain barrel.
