Kids Volunteer Day: A Day Off from School. A Day to Give Back.
When FCPS is closed, we're open for volunteer service!
Kids Volunteer Day gives children the opportunity to spend their day off making a difference in their community. Throughout the day, kids will:
- Complete meaningful volunteer projects that address real community needs
- Meet nonprofit leaders and learn firsthand about the important work they do
- Experience how rewarding—and fun—it can be to volunteer
Projects include:
- Sensory Kits for Empowering InvisAbilites (provides disability awareness education)
- Bookmarks for Comfort Cases
- Prepare Emergency Kits
- Prepare Art Supply kits for local children, and more.
Registration is limited to 24 children; this camp will be led by two team members from Mosaic ES. $145/one child, sibling discounts available. Kids Give Back is a nonprofit org; registration is considered a donation.
