The Vienna Area Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) invites the public to a free speaker program on October 24th at the Vienna Community Center. Doors will open at 10:00 am and the program will commence at 10:30 am.
If you are using the library only to check out books, you are missing half the story. Come hear about digital and audio books, research and genealogical tools, technology instruction, writers' groups and new things like the Library of Things.
Will Osborne, Adjult Services Outreach Coordinator for the Fairfax Public Library System, and Xante Anderer of the Fairfax Library Foundation will be our guides to the services and resources provided by our public library system.
We welcome a diverse branch membershp. New members that join the branch at this event will receive a 50% discount on their first year of annual national dues. To learn more about AAUW and the Vienna Area Branch, go to vienna-va.aauw.net/
