“I opened my first California Tortilla first and foremost because I love the food—it’s made fresh, and comes in a variety of options, whether it’s adventurous flavors like Korean BBQ, traditional flavors like the Fajita Burrito, or signature chef-inspired creations like the California Screamin’”, said Zee. “I knew I wanted to open another California Tortilla—and with residential and retail development booming, Halstead Square in Merrifield is the perfect location.”
California Tortilla serves fresh, made-to-order burritos, quesadillas and salads all grounded in a foundation of Mexican cuisine.
Based in Rockville, the fast-casual chain has more than 40 locations across the East Coast in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. They are best known for their fresh food, unique recipes, innovative promotions, customer and community engagement via Twitter, Facebook and their famous newsletter, Taco Talk.
