The troupe will present a show based on songs from their current album “Mock the Vote.” Each show consists of tasteful lampooning guaranteed to leave both sides of the political spectrum laughing.

The troupe started in 1981, when John McCain was only 63 years old! Since then, they have appeared on “The Today Show,” “Nightline,” “CBS Evening News” and for many years in specials for National Public Radio. Capitol Steps Troupe member and James Madison HS Alum Mark Eaton has helped to bring this incredible opportunity to our doorstep – right in Vienna at the James Madison High School Auditorium.

The show is constantly changing, strenuously bi-partisan, and includes songs about everything in the news, such as “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Crimea,” “Ain’t No Pipeline, Now It’s Gone,” and “The iMpossible iWatch.”

ADVANCE TICKET PRICES:

$30 - Adults

During this year of heightened political importance (dare I say, this year of heightened political drama), may our community can come together to laugh (not cry) about the condition of our political system. And after laughing about it, may we resolve ourselves to make it better.
