Chillin' On Church Block Parties Return For Summer
The Town of Vienna is bringing back the block parties with live music, food trucks and drinks due to popular demand.
VIENNA, VA—Due to popular demand, the Chillin' on Church summer block parties will return to Vienna for another season.
Hosted by the Town of Vienna, the events feature live music, beer and wine sales and food trucks. The block parties will take place along Church Street from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. on June 15, July 20, Aug. 17 and Sept. 21.
Kicking off the June 15 block party will be The Rockits, who will perform rock, Motown, and soul favorites. The first event is sponsored by Our Lady of Good Counsel.

Food truck offerings will be different for each block party. Cash and credit cards are accepted for alcohol and most food sales, and photo ID is required to purchase alcohol.

- Buena'Dillas - artisan quesadillas
- Laughing Crab Catering - broiled and fried seafood, crab cakes
- Killer Tomato Pizza - wood-fired pizza
- The Big Cheese - gourmet grilled cheese
- Over the Rice - Asian fusion
- Kona Ice of North Fairfax County - shaved ice
- Captain Cookie and the Milkman - cookies, ice cream, ice cream sandwiches
- The Inside Scoop - hand-dipped ice cream, shakes, sundaes
Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.
During the block parties, Church Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Mill Street to Dominion. Mill Street will be closed from Maple Avenue to Church Street.
