“Our nation has a sacred trust with our veterans, our service members, and their families,” Connolly said at the award ceremony. “They have sacrificed for us and our nation. We must ensure that the services we promised to them are available to them, and education ranks near the top of the needs of our returning military.”

Connolly’s district offices in Annandale and Woodbridge handle many cases involving veterans and military families in Virginia’s 11th District who are seeking information and guidance or are having difficulties securing services or benefits from the federal government.
