Crash Ends In Vienna Front Yard: Police
The crash resulted in minor injuries after a driver ran a stop sign.

VIENNA, VA—A crash partially ended in a front yard and caused minor injuries after a driver ran a stop sign in Vienna on Monday, Dec. 3, police say.
Around 7:38 p.m., the first driver was traveling north on Glyndon Street SE and ran a stop sign at the intersection with Tapawingo Street SE. The second driver had been on eastbound Tapawingo Street—which doesn't have stop sign— and struck the first vehicle.
The crash forced the second vehicle into a front yard. Both drivers went to the hospital with minor injuries. The yard has minor damage to the grass. See a map of the intersection by scrolling to the bottom of this page.

Police issued a summons to the first driver for failure to obey a stop sign.

Between November 29 at 2:00 p.m. and November 30 at 12:00 p.m.
A resident reported that an unknown person entered both of her unlocked vehicles and rummaged through them. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
Assault 18-010011
100 Block Patrick Street, SE
December 5 10:59 p.m.
A resident advised that when he told his tenant to leave the apartment the tenant became aggressive. He stated the tenant attempted to attack him with a vacuum cleaner and threw a glass at him. The tenant advised his landlord was the aggressor and that it was the landlord who attacked him with the vacuum.
No injuries were sustained, and both parties were advised of the warrant process should they wish to pursue charges.
