A downed tree was reported in the Tysons area just as hazardous weather is set to impact the area.

TYSONS, VA—A fallen tree has closed a Tysons area road Friday afternoon, according to Fairfax County Police.

The downed tree came as hazardous weather is on the way. The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until 9 p.m. Friday for Fairfax County. A tornado watch means tornadoes are possible, while a warning means one has been picked up by the weather radar.
