Drunk Driver Crashes On Residential Street: Vienna Police

Police say the driver did not flee after crashing two blocks from Maple Avenue in Vienna.

VIENNA, VA—A 21-year-old man accused of drunk driving crashed into a car in a residential area of Vienna Monday night, police say.

A resident had reported that a driver had crashed into his vehicle shortly before 10 p.m. in the 300 Block of Cabin Road SE. An officer arrived to find the driver had remained on the scene. Police say the driver smelled like alcohol and failed all sobriety tests.

The man, who was not identified in the police report, was arrested and charged with DWI. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. No one was injured in the crash. Scroll down for a map of the crash location.

A resident reported and attempted telephone scam.

Grand Larceny 18-0001336

900 Block of Meadow Lane SW
February 14 7:00 p.m.

A resident reported that someone entered his unsecured vehicle and stole some items.

800 Block of Meadow Lane SW
Between February 14 6:45 p.m. and February 15 7:20 a.m.

A resident reported that someone entered her unsecured vehicle and stole an item.

Disorderly Conduct 18-0001375
The Wolftrap Hotel
430 Maple Avenue West
February 15 9:01 p.m.

An employee requested police assistance with a customer. Officers responded to the hotel and
made contact with the emotionally disturbed person. The person was screaming, cursing and
throwing object from his room. The person was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct.
A 50-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County
Adult Detention Center. Two arrest warrants (Disorderly Conduct and Destruction of Private
Property) were issued and served. A secured bond of $1,000.00 was set. The man was remanded
to the custody of the Fairfax County Deputies.
