Drybar Opens First Location in Virginia at Tysons

Popular chain store offers shampoos, blow-outs and more.

VIENNA, VA -- Virginia now has its first Drybar. Founded in 2010 in California, the salon offers shampoos and blow-outs for about $40 (not including tax and tip).

The new location opened Thursday at 8068 Tysons Corner Center, 1961 Chain Bridge Road, Level 2, Parking A.

The company was founded by Alli Webb. Before becoming a full time mom to Grant, 9, and Kit, 7, Webb had a career in public relations working with clients such as Faith Hill, Paul McCartney and Keith Urban. She’s a professional hair stylist, trained by Toni & Guy, and spent several years working under John Sahag in New York. In 2008 she began a side business called Straight-at-Home, which provided in home blow-outs, strictly on a referral basis in Los Angeles.

Webb expanded and started Drybar and she's been lauded by the business community with numerous awards including the 2014 CEW Achiever Award, Fortune’s “40 under 40,” Marie Claire’s “16 Most Fascinating Women,” Cosmopolitan’s “2013 Power List” and Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People in Business.”
