Fairfax County Men Detained By ICE File Lawsuit

The men are claiming racial profiling led to their detainment at a Fairfax County apartment building.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA—Two men detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in February are filing a civil lawsuit, claiming racial profiling, NBC Washington's Kristin Wright reports.

ICE arrested the men at Fairmont Gardens apartments in Annandale on Feb. 17. The two men will have a deportation hearing in January.

The Legal Aid Justice Center filed the lawsuit on behalf of the men. It claims that ICE detained the men because they appeared to be of Latino or Hispanic descent.
