Fairfax County Police Charge Suspect in Security Guard Assault

Fairfax County Police say they have arrested a suspect who allegedly assaulted a security guard just after midnight this weekend.

Alex F. Garcia of the Falls Church area was charged with assault, trespassing, obstruction of justice and drunk in public Saturday, according to police.

The incident took place Saturday at about 12:19 a.m. in the 2700 block of Gallows Road in the Vienna area of the county, police said. A man entered a business and assaulted a security guard, FCPD reported. The suspect fled on foot and was located by responding officers, according to police.
