Fairfax Day Care Owner Charged With Sexual Battery
A man that runs an in-home day care in Fairfax is charged with inappropriately touching two children.
FAIRFAX, VA—A Fairfax day care owner has been arrested and charged with sexual battery against children.
Police say an 11-year-old child reported being inappropriately touched by a man on June 20. Police investigation identified Claudio Vargas Lazo, 43, as the suspect. Investigations also found the suspect inappropriately touched a 9-year-old child.

Lazo runs an in-home day care service at the 3900 block of Kernstown Court in Fairfax.
Police ask anyone that believes their children may have had inappropriate contact with Lazo should call. Anyone with information should call Detective L.M. Smith at 703-246-7800 or the Child Protective Services Hotline at 703-324-7400.
