VIENNA, VA — Once October arrives, it's time for some spooky Halloween fun and other fall festivities.
Vienna has events for all ages throughout the month. The Vienna Halloween Parade is the highlight of the month on Oct. 26, but there are other festivities to enjoy in between parade day.

Harvest Festival: Saturday, Oct. 8, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Town Green, 144 Maple Avenue E, Vienna, VA

Belong! and the Committee for Helping Others will host this fall event. There will be games, food trucks, a petting zoo and face painting. Attendees can bring new and gently used coats for the CHO clothing closet at Committee for Helping Others.
Halloween on the Green: Saturday, Oct. 15, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Town Green, 144 Maple Avenue E, Vienna, VA
This family-friendly event includes crafts, games, moon bounces, pumpkin decorating and more.
Vienna Volunteer Fire Department Open House: Saturday, Oct. 15, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department will join other Fairfax County fire stations in hosting an open house to the public on Oct. 15. This event will feature a close-up look at emergency vehicles, fire demonstrations, meeting firefighters, a moon bounce and more activities.
Vienna Halloween Parade: Wednesday, Oct. 26, 7 p.m.
Maple Avenue between Branch Road and Center Street, Vienna, VA
Vienna's annual Halloween Parade returns with a theme of "Time Machine: Vienna in the past, present and future." Applications were due Sept. 16 for floats to participate. Children and others do not need to register to march in the parade. The meeting location for marching in the parade will be 6 p.m. on Oct. 26 at United Bank, 374 Maple Avenue E. Trunk or Treat: Sunday, Oct. 30, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Park Street NE, Vienna, VA
Vienna Presbyterian Church will host this event with decorated cars offering candy to children. There will also be music from a DJ, a moon bounce, games and crafts.
