Fire and Rescue Units Respond to Accidental Shed Fire
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon and caused $2,500 worth of damages. No one was injured in the fire.

An electrical system failure within a lawnmower near a shed behind a Vienna home caused the shed to catch fire, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue reported Monday.
Fire and rescue units noticed smoking coming from the rear of a home at 10004 Woodrow Street at approximately 3:20 p.m., and found the shed had caught fire. The shed was being stored beneath the home’s back deck, and fire and rescue units reported no one was home when the fire started.
As a result, no one was displaced by the fire, and no injuries were reported. However, the was $2,500 worth of damage reported after the fire was extinguished.

Investigators later determined the faulty lawnmower to the cause of the fire.
