What: Food for Others Tysons 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
When: September 20, 2015, 9:30 A.M.
Where: 7925 Jones Branch Drive
Why: This is the second annual Tysons 5K organized by Food for Others volunteers to benefit the area’s largest food bank. Food for Others is an important part of Northern Virginia’s safety net for those needing food when an emergency strikes, and for the growing number of working poor who are unable to make ends meet and need to supplement their inadequate food supplies.
Who: The race is only made possible by our generous corporate sponsors and partners. This event allows people who live and/or work in Tysons to support our less fortunate neighbors while enjoying a great run or walk! Last year we had approximately 200 participants and raised over $9,000.
