Food Recalled From Popular VA, DC Grocer May Contain Rocks
There may be rocks in a falafel you bought at Trader Joe's, the company said. Here's what Virginia and DC shoppers should know.
VIRGINIA — Trader Joe's has issued a recall of one of its products from D.C. and Virginia shelves because of possible foreign object contamination, saying its Fully Cooked Falafel has been recalled in 36 states because it may have rocks in it.
The Fully Cooked Falafel (SKU# 93935) has been issued a recall, with all products removed from all stores and destroyed. Anyone who purchased these products should throw them out or return them for a full refund.
Trader Joe's has more than 15 locations in Virginia and the District.

Trader Joe's said no customers have reported adverse health effects from eating the products.
