Former Clarity Chef Returns To Lead Restaurant's Kitchen In Vienna

VIENNA, VA — Fans of Vienna's chef-driven restaurant Clarity will see a familiar face back in the kitchen.

Nick Palermo, the chef de cuisine under former chef and owner Jon Krinn, returned to Clarity. Krinn departed Clarity in early 2022, bringing the restaurant under new ownership. Palermo left in September 2022 after more than six years at the restaurant.

But that's all in the rearview mirror as Palermo returns, bringing back his experience to Clarity's menu. According to Clarity's website, Palermo studied at Culinary Institute of America before joining Krinn's team at 2941 Restaurant in Falls Church. He later worked as executive chef at Old Anglers Inn in Potomac, Maryland and at Barrel and Crow in Bethesda, Maryland. He got to work again with Krinn at Clarity and got to improve his cuisine there.

Clarity is located at 442 Maple Ave E, Vienna, VA and offers a rotating à la carte menu and four-course prix fixe tasting menu. Current hours are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays to Wednesdays and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursdays to Saturdays.
