Vienna Fourth of July 2017: Fireworks, Weather Update
Vienna's Fourth of July celebration will be an evening full of music and eating contests, culminating in a fireworks show.
VIENNA, VA -- If you're stating in Vienna for the Fourth of July, mark your calendars for an evening of fun and fireworks. Vienna's Americana celebration begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 4 at Yeonas Park (1319 Ross Drive SW).
What better way to celebrate America than to chow down on summer favorites in two eating contests? Children ages five to 10 can compete in a pie-eating contest, while adults can try to eat the most chili hot dogs in the least amount of time.
Sign up for the hot dog contest at Parks and Recreation (262M Cedar Lane) and the Vienna Inn (120 Maple Ave E) or by registering online. There is a $20 registration fee. Space is limited to 10 participants, who must be 18 and older. Children can register at the event for the pie-eating contest. The event starts at 7 p.m.
