Free Bike Rodeo Rolls Into Vienna With Safety Course, Helmet Fittings
Vienna and Herndon police are teaming up for a free family bike rodeo featuring a cone course, helmet fittings and safety tips.
VIENNA, VA — Families can bring their bikes to downtown Vienna this month for a free event aimed at helping children and adults brush up on bicycle and e-bike safety.
The Vienna and Herndon police departments will host the Two Towns Bike Rodeo from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 26, at 138 Church St. N.E. in Vienna.
Participants can ride through a bike-cone course, get help with helmet fittings, and learn the rules of the road. Officers and community organizations will also be on hand to answer questions and share information about safely riding bicycles and e-bikes.
