Free Vienna Event: Ruth Bader Ginsburg Biographers

Two biographers will discuss writing about Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at the Vienna bookstore.

VIENNA, VA—If you're a fan of the "Notorious RBG," you'd probably want to mark your calendar for this upcoming event. Bards Alley in Vienna is hosting two of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's biographers for a discussion on Nov. 16.

Mary Hartnett and Debbie Levy will talk about the delights and challenges of writing about Ginsburg and share little-known stories.

Hartnett is one of Ginsburg’s authorized biographers and has co-authored "My Own Words" with Ginsburg herself and Wendy W. Williams. She is an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown and an advisory board member of the Women’s Law and Public Policy Fellowship Program.

Levy is the author of New York Times best-selling children's book "I Dissent: Ruth Bader Ginsburg Makes Her Mark." The book the 2017 Sydney Taylor Book Award and 2016 National Jewish Book Award. Levy is a former lawyer and newspaper editor and has written several award-winning nonfiction and fiction books for young people.

In addition, Bards Alley will host bestselling author David Baldacci Sunday, Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. at Jammin Java. This is a ticketed event.
