Free Food At Mosaic District MOM's Organic Market Sunday
MOM's Organic Market is celebrating its 30-year anniversary with a special event featuring tastings and activities at the Mosaic District.

VIENNA, VA — The MOM's Organic Market at the Mosaic District will join other MOM's grocery stores this weekend to celebrate the chain's 30-year anniversary. Tastings, family activities and local environmental groups will be on tap on Sunday, July 2, at all of the store's 17 locations.
The market is known for its organic produce, sustainable seafood and array of natural body care products.
Founder Scott Nash hand-delivered his first box of organic produce in Rockville, Md. on July 2, 1987. Since then, the concept has grown to include stores in Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.

"I started this company out of my mom's garage in 1987 with an initial investment of $100," Nash said in a statement about the 30-year anniversary celebration. "Thanks to our customers and employees, we're celebrating this momentous day and the efforts to make the world a better place to live!"

The anniversary celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, at all locations, including at 8298 Glass Alley, Fairfax, VA 22031.
"The stores' 30th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, July 2nd will feature: meet and greets with local environmental organizations, local tastings, family activities, and much more," the statement adds. "Join them when #MOMsTurns30!"
In Northern Virginia, MOM's has stores in Fairfax, Alexandria, Herndon and Woodbridge.
