Funds from the Morgan Stanley Foundation Directed to Local 501(c)(3) Nonprofit

Assistance League of Northern Virginia is pleased to announce a donation of $1,000 from the Morgan Stanley Charitable Spending Account of the Morgan Stanley Foundation at the request of their employee, Michael Stein. The money is targeted for our signature Operation School Bell® program, Weekend Food for Kids (WFFK). With this donation, Mr. Stein, through the Morgan Stanley Foundation, has directed $4,000 to WFFK from 2012 through 2017. In addition, his son, Fitz Stein, raised money to purchase food for 100 WFFK bags, which he packed and donated QUARTERLY during his junior and senior years of high school. Assistance League appreciates the Stein family for its generous gifts to the 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
