Get Free Pizza For Working Smoke Detectors In Vienna

The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department will deliver pizzas atop a fire engine. Here's how to get one.

VIENNA, VA—Homeowners are always encouraged to check if their smoke detectors are functioning, but there's even more reason to this week. The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department is partnering with Domino's to offer free pizza to residents with all smoke detectors working properly.

Domino's Fire Night will happen Thursday, Feb. 7 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. The volunteer fire department will deliver pizzas atop a fire engine. Upon arrival, firefighters will check all smoke detectors in the home.

If all smoke detectors are working properly, the pizza order is free. If a smoke detector is not working, firefighters will replace it for free, but you must pay for the pizza. Either way, you get to keep your home safe while filling it with the scent of fresh pizza.
