Being born and raised in Northern Virginia, my team and I have gotten to know good restaurants. In honor of this coming Tweekend, we compiled a list of our favorite NOVA Easter Brunch locales, restaurants, bistros, and cafés--including a few food recommendations. Remember, this holiday symbolizes new beginnings, the coming of spring and quality family-fun-time. Go ahead... spend some quality, holiday time with your peeps! • 2941 Restaurant. 3-Course Prix Fixe menu created by Executive Chef Bertrand Chemel, Chef de Cuisine Kyoo Eom and Pastry Chef Caitlin Dysart. Spring-inspired appetizers such as beet carpaccio (piave cheese, arugula, capers, toasted pignoli) and Watercress Soup (poached quail egg, Yukon gold potato nest), plus a special trio of dessert treats. • Assaggi Osteria. This charming Easter brunch features spring inspired dishes prepared by chef and owner Domenico Cornacchia and chef de cuisine, Daniele Bolognesi. What do we think is delicious? • Bistro Vivant.
