Halloween starts early in Vienna. Residents are invited to the Town Green for pumpkin painting, moon bounces and more.

VIENNA, VA—There's no reason the whole month of October can't be dedicated to spooky Halloween fun. That's the perspective the Town of Vienna takes, as its first Halloween event, Halloween on the Green, is coming up Saturday, Oct. 13. All are invited to the Town Green from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The events is geared toward children ages 2-10. Historic Vienna Inc. will host apple peeling on the porch of the Freeman Store. Two of the Vienna Singing Princesses will make appearances.

The event is free. In the event of inclement weather, call 703-255-7842 for the event status. Also, mark your calendars for the Vienna Halloween Parade on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
