VIENNA, VA — In the time between Halloween and the winter holiday season, there's still plenty to do around Vienna. Meadowlark Winter Walk of Lights and Church Street Holiday Stroll are two of the event highlights in November.

Holiday lights season starts early as the Meadowlark Winter Walk of Lights will return for an 11th year starting Nov. 11 through Jan. 8. Enjoy a walk through Meadowlark Botanical Gardens while admiring the lights set up around the park. Plus, enjoy hot drinks with or without spirits and s’mores.

One of the favorite holiday events returns in late November to ring in the season. The Church Street Holiday Stroll will be held on Monday, Nov. 28 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event features live holiday music from local groups, a tree lighting led by Mayor Linda Colbert and promotions at Church Street businesses. Visitors are also encouraged to visit the Freeman Store and Museum, Little Library, Caboose, Train Station, Knights of Columbus and Vienna Presbyterian's Old Chapel during the event.
