How Vienna Voted In The 2018 Virginia General Election

VIENNA, VA—Election Day in Virginia saw three congressional districts flip to the Democrats, which included Jennifer Wexton's victory over Rep. Barbara Comstock in Northern Virginia. While the Vienna area didn't have the same kind of competitive races, we're taking a look at how its precincts voted.

For the largely blue area, it wasn't a matter of who voters were going to choose for Congress but by how much. Vienna voters also overwhelmingly re-elected Democratic Rep. Gerry Connolly and chose Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine over Republican Corey Stewart.

With 100 percent of Fairfax County precincts reporting vote totals, some of the top Vienna precincts for Kaine were: Madison (76.58 percent), Kilmer (75.75 percent) and Vienna #6 (74.91 percent). The top precincts for Connolly were the same: Madison (74.86 percent), Kilmer (73.38 percent) and Vienna #6 (72.28 percent).
