Inc. 5000 List Includes 290 Virginia Companies
Inc. magazine released its list of the fastest growing privately held companies in America, and about 300 from Virginia made the cut.
VIENNA, VA — Around 300 Virginia companies have been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies in America. DGC International, a Vienna-based government services company, topped the Virginia list and ranked 20th nationally.
A total of 290 Virginia companies made the list. Nationally, only seven percent of companies in the U.S. make the annual Inc. 5000 list. To secure a spot, companies must meet a certain percentage of growth year over year.
Second in Virginia and 29th nationally is Woodbridge-based TechAnax, followed by Interactive Government Holdings in Springfield, which is ranked 36th nationally.
