Intelsat Gives Back Globally on a Local Basis

Assistance League of Northern Virginia would like to recognize Intelsat for its contribution to its Weekend Food for Kids (WFFK) program. Volunteers from Intelsat offices around the world are “giving back globally on a local basis.” With the generous and kind support of Intelsat’s leadership team, Intelsat employees in McLean, VA have packed and donated more than 2,550 bags of nonperishable food for the nonprofit's WFFK program since October 2015. Intelsat’s contribution has helped the organization provide weekend food to hundreds of elementary school-age students at risk of hunger in our region and expand the critical program to an additional elementary school.
