Intelsat Gives Back Globally on a Local Basis

Assistance League of Northern Virginia would like to recognize Intelsat’s contribution to our Weekend Food for Kids (WFFK) program. Volunteers from Intelsat offices around the world are “giving back globally on a local basis.” With the generous support of Intelsat’s leadership team, Intelsat employees in McLean, Virginia have purchased and packaged kid-friendly food items and donated 750 bags of food to the WFFK program since October 2015. Intelsat’s contribution has helped us to provide weekend food each month to 1500 elementary-aged students in Fairfax and Prince William counties and the City of Alexandria who receive free or reduced price meals during the week
