WEB-BASED FINANCIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

November 11th, 2016, Vienna, VA – Jason Adams, CFP^® and Senior Vice President of UBS today announced a new initiative to bring financial education to students at Vienna Elementary School by providing them with access to the UBS Financial Education Program and the Vault™ – Understanding Money learning platform. This web-based program uses the latest in new-media technology – simulations, avatars, gaming and more – to bring complex concepts to life for today’s digital generation. Through this platform, students will become certified in dozens of topics in personal finance helping them prepare to successfully manage their future finances. Mr. Adams has partnered with EverFi, Inc. to bring this program to Vienna Elementary School students at no cost to the school.

Vault™ - Understanding Money is an interactive, new-media learning platform specifically designed to introduce financial literacy skills early in a child’s cognitive development. Course topics include saving, budgeting, responsibility and decision-making, credit and debt, careers, income, charity and more. The course features interactive lessons, games and story-based activities that challenge kids to make choices in real-life scenarios to best achieve important goals around saving and job planning.
