JMHS Orchestra Musicians Available to Play at Your Holiday Event!

Orchestra Holiday Fundraiser

James Madison High School has a top-performing, award-winning orchestra program with over 120 students. Fairfax County budget shortfalls are expected to be between $50 million to $100 million next year and our orchestra is expecting cuts that could endanger the quality of our program.

As a new fundraiser, members of our Philharmonic and Chamber orchestras are now available to play as quartets, quintets, or small ensembles for local events. The students can play at receptions, parties or group meetings. In turn, we would ask for a donation to the school orchestra program. A suggested donation of at least $150 per performance is suggested.

With the holidays rapidly approaching, we hope this offer would be appealing and would benefit both your organization and our young musicians. A quality quartet or quintet performance in exchange for a donation is a great opportunity which would enhance your event while giving our students an authentic performance experience.
