Lee Highway Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

Fairfax County Police said Monday that an area gas station was robbed at gunpoint Sunday just before noon.

The incident took place in the 8700 block of Lee Highway (see map below) Sunday at 11:55 a.m., police said.

A man entered the Exxon gas station, displayed a handgun and demanded money, according to police. An undisclosed amount of cash was handed over and there were no injuries.

The suspect fled on foot toward Cedar Lane. Police described the suspect as white, between the ages of 25-30 years old. He was wearing a brown baseball cap, a long-sleeve shirt and brown shorts, police said.
