LILI THE FIRST RAISED $555 TO SUPPORT WOMEN IN THE COMMUNITY

Money will be donated to The Women's Center in Vienna VA

Vienna, VA, April 15, 2015– The successful collaboration between LiLi The First, fashion shopping destination small business, and The Women’s Center, continues! Customers donations of new and lightly used upscale items to the “Fashion Support” rack are sold in the boutique, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to The Women’s Center to use toward support and empowerment of women in the community through counseling, education, training, mediation, financial planning and more.

“I am so proud that within the first year of the boutique and together with the women in the community, we have raised more than a $1,000”, said Ifat Pridan, owner of LiLi The First. “This joint effort of LiLi The First and the its customers has been a success in terms of donations of clothing as well as purchases of the items. It is a great example of a cycle of women who are supporting each other and the community.”

Shirley Clark, the Executive Director of The Women’s Center was overjoyed. “Ifat had a brilliant idea that serves at so many levels. We are thrilled to be a part of a community that cares so much for the mental health and resiliency of its citizens. Our thanks to LiLi the First for creating a new way to support The Center.”

The Fashion Support rack is permanently located at LiLi The First boutique, which accepts donations of contemporary lightly used clothing and invites the ladies to enjoy both shopping and supporting the community at the same time.
