Nonprofit Orchestra to Hold Benefit Concert to Help All-Volunteer Nonprofit Feed Children

Assistance League of Northern Virginia's Weekend Food for Kids program to benefit from American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras' outreach.

It's Chamber MARCH! American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras (AYPO) is pleased to collaborate with Assistance League of Northern Virginia for an evening showcasing AYPO small ensemble groups and raising awareness for a worthy cause!

Musicians with a passion for service and a love for chamber music have collaborated for the last month in small ensembles to present this concert. Join us on Sunday, March 12th at 6:30 PM at Providence Presbyterian Church in Fairfax, VA.

In lieu of an admission fee, attendees are asked to bring a box of nonperishable food to donate to Assistance League of Northern Virginia’s Weekend Food for Kids program. The nonprofit would gratefully accept the following food items:

Cans of tuna (5 oz.)

Del Monte fruit cans (4 oz. each/applesauce)

Hunt’s Snack Pack pudding cups

Individual serving boxes of Kellog’s cereal (1.52 oz.)

Kraft Cheese and Crackers (6 cracker size)

Individual serving bags of Cheez-It (1.5 oz.)

Packages of Easy Mac (other single service container
of Macaroni and Cheese is fine)

Packages of Ramen Noodles (3 oz.)

Envelopes of hot cocoa mix

Envelopes of instant Quaker Oatmeal

Assistance League of Northern Virginia is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that feeds, clothes and educates children in need in our community.
