Lookalike Mom And Daughter From Vienna: Mother's Day Photos

VIENNA, VA — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Virginia to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies!

Vienna resident Brett Cordeau sent us this pair of photos showing the almost twin-like resemblance of her and her daughter Ryan. Both images were taken at eight years old.

This is a split screen shot of me when I was eight years old in 1982 in Fairfax Virginia alongside my daughter Ryan at age 8 years old Last year! I had never seen this picture until six months ago when an old friend reconnected on Facebook and sent me it after her mom found it in the shoe box of pictures and her attic! The resemblance was so uncanny that even I couldn’t believe it! I love the concept of this and hope that mine shows how strong genetics can be… For real!
